About The Position

The CT Technologist is responsible and accountable for providing quality imaging of patients to aid in the diagnosis and continuum of care of patients and assist Radiologist with exams. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of an ARRT program. Experience: Minimum 1 year related experience as a CT Technologist. License/Certification: ARRT, license in the State of Arkansas, and current CPR. Registered CT technologist a plus. Primary Source Verification: Original Transcripts and Arkansas Department of Health Safety Sensitive Designation: This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without an accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following: Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions. Ability to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist, and occasionally lift, push and pull up to 100 pounds with proper body mechanics. Spend eight hours or more performing CT exams in the department, surgery, emergency department, and patient floors. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure. Work Environment: Hospital Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Weekend shifts required to take call and respond within 30 minutes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ARRT program
  • Minimum 1 year related experience as a CT Technologist
