About the position

This position utilizes noninvasive computerized medical technology to take CT scan images, which are used to diagnose, evaluate, and treat a variety of medical issues. As a CT Scan Technologist, you'll utilize advanced, non-invasive computerized medical technology to take detailed CT images, helping diagnose, evaluate, and treat a wide range of medical conditions. You'll work with a supportive and dynamic team while also gaining valuable skills in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate CT examinations, ensuring all techniques align with ACR standards and ALARA principles.
  • Manage patient history and ensure proper preparation for exams.
  • Administer venipuncture techniques and maintain I-stat competencies.
  • Communicate with patients, ensuring they understand the procedure and post-exam instructions.
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper stock management in the department.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns as per department protocols.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required).
  • Montana State Radiologic Technologist License (required).
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the ARRT (required).
  • Current BLS CPR certification (required).
  • Current Computed Tomography (CT) certification by ARRT (preferred), OR must be successfully obtained within 18 months of hire (required).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for patient care and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
