About The Position

The CT Scan Technologist (MI) works under supervision of the Radiologist, utilizes computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patient’s internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues. Requirements

• Graduate of AMA accredited Radiology Technology program.
• One year experience as a CT Scan Technologist.
• Ability to work as a team member and utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate an understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology as it relates to Computed Tomography.
• Effective communication with patients, physicians and staff is required.
• Must maintain knowledge of patient care techniques to include proficiency in venipuncture techniques for intravenous line establishment and safe administration of contrast utilizing the power injector.
• Protects confidentiality of the patient and serves as a patient advocate at all times.
• Current BCLS certification
• Current ARRT ( R ) registration
• Obtain ARRT (CT) registry in Computed Tomography within one year.
