Caregivers in this position are a part of the Radiology Pulse Program training to advance their ARRT Licensing to become Registered CT Technologists. The CT cross training program aims to attract and empower Radiologic Technologists through comprehensive training, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to proficiently perform 125 CT imaging exams through advancing skills in patient positioning, identifying cross sectional anatomy, operation of computed tomography (CT) imaging equipment and performing image post processing. The intention is to gain the knowledge and clinical experience in preparation for the certification exam. Upon entering this role, caregivers acknowledge the program requirements as set forth in the signed attestation agreement. Caregivers must remain employed as a CT Tech for one year or agree to pay back the total cost of the training program.
