About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: This position operates various types of X-ray, Computed Tomography (CT) and auxiliary equipment to provide diagnostic images for diagnostic interpretations by a Radiologist. This position also performs clerical and transport duties in the absence of those personnel on an as needed basis. Requirements

  • Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) licensure required.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Computed Tomography (CT) certification strongly preferred.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) licensure strongly preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Current CA Fluoroscopic license required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or Completion Certificate from a Radiological Technology Program required.
  • Venipuncture certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum one-year of experience in Radiologic Technology and one year of experience in CT procedures required.
  • Ability to physically lift, maneuver and/or manipulate patients and equipment.
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment controls and switches.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and remain calm under stressful conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Computed Tomography (CT) certification strongly preferred.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) licensure strongly preferred.
  • Venipuncture certification strongly preferred.
