About The Position

A well-established rural regional medical center in Southern Colorado is seeking a full-time CT / Radiologic Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. This role performs CT and general radiology procedures in accordance with established protocols, ensuring patient safety, high-quality imaging, and strict adherence to radiation protection standards.

Requirements

  • Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technologist program
  • ARRT Registered (R)
  • ARRT (CT) certification (required)
  • Minimum 6 months of CT experience
  • Minimum 1 year of overall Radiologic Technologist experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Active state licensure
  • Candidates must be willing to relocate to a rural community.

Nice To Haves

  • MRI certification preferred , but not required

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT and diagnostic radiology procedures using prescribed techniques
  • Adjust imaging equipment settings, including voltage, current, and exposure time
  • Follow radiation safety and shielding protocols
  • Prepare contrast media and examination rooms
  • Conduct quality control checks and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and diagnostic testing
  • Assist with scheduling and administrative tasks as needed
