About The Position

The health system comprises three hospitals, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations. We provide both inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout Southwest Michigan. The position provides healthcare services, applying cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment. It involves performing CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. The role includes providing appropriate patient care and recognizing patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. The individual acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families, and serves as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues. Additionally, the position requires assuring equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift and assisting in employee development.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field.
  • CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required.

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • CT experience.
