Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital & Clinics is seeking an Imaging or CT Technologist to join our CAT SCAN team! Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs quality diagnostic CT scans. The CT Technologist will have an above average knowledge of CT equipment. Complies with performance measures and/or activities to assure patient/customer satisfaction results, clinical quality benchmarks, and operational financial targets are constantly maintained. Complies with and participates in maintaining an environment which supports our philosophy and values. Those not certified in CT but wishing to are encouraged to apply and would be considered for an Imaging Technologist role with the opportunity to be CT certified in the future. HOURS: 1.0 FTE/80 hours every two weeks working varied shifts to include days, PMs, and nights along with weekend & holiday rotation

Requirements

Graduation from an approved radiography school, an Associate Degree in Radiography, or sufficient on the job training to meet ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure requirements.
ARRT (R) and/or (CT)
State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer license
Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
Interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical and/or emotional stress, and to acquire and effectively utilize knowledge of computerized tomography techniques and methods, and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy in order to obtain quality images.
