About The Position

Northside Hospital is a growing, award-winning, state-of-the-art healthcare provider. This position is a training role designed to prepare individuals for CT certification. Residents will receive 22 weeks of clinical and didactic training under the supervision of a registered CT technologist, providing CT exams as ordered by physicians. Upon successful completion of the program, residents will be eligible to apply for the ARRT certification examination. After passing the certification exam, residents will be assigned to CT Technologist positions and commit to two years of employment with Northside Hospital.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)
  • One (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
  • Ability to insert an intravenous catheter

Responsibilities

  • Gain certification as a CT Technologist
  • Work under the supervision of a registered CT technologist in providing CT exams per physician orders
  • Complete 22 weeks of clinical and didactic training
  • Apply for the ARRT certification examination after successful program completion
  • Upon passing the certification exam, accept assignment as a CT Technologist and commit to two (2) years of employment with Northside
