Jennie Edmundson is seeking a compassionate, certified CT/RT Technologist to operate CT and X-Ray equipment, capture quality diagnostic images, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include positioning patients, following scan instructions, maintaining equipment, administering contrast agents, and monitoring for reactions. Candidates must have a degree in radiologic technology, ARRT certification, a state license, and CPR/BLS certification. Strong technical skills, medical knowledge, and effective communication are essential. Requirements

Graduate of an approved American Medical Association School of Radiologic Technology required.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered in Radiography (R) required.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered in Computed Tomography (CT) required.
Technologists who have completed clinical training and are Computed Tomography (CT) Board eligible will be considered with the understanding that the registry will be passed within 12 months of hire.
New technologists who require clinical training to become Computed Tomography (CT) board eligible will be considered with the understanding that the advanced board certification is required within 12 months at the completion of clinical training.
Current Medical Radiographer license for work state required.
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and interact with patients and family members as well as hospital personnel and coworkers.
Must have analytical skills necessary to compute exposure factors and the ability to perform numerous tasks at once.
Adept at working with pediatric patients.
Strong knowledge in cross sectional anatomy for CT exams and abnormalities of exams is essential.

Nice To Haves

One year experience in CT or a graduate from an approved CT/MRI program preferred.
