The CT technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans. Requirements

  • Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
  • Experience: One year experience in CT, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Certified and registered by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire.
  • Certified and registered by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
  • IV Credentialed, required.
  • Applicable state license, required.

  • Ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
