CSWS César Chávez School Classroom Reading Assistant
About The Position
This is a Community Service Work Study student employment position. Applicants must have Federal Work Study funds in their Financial Aid package. This position will support small reading groups of 1st-5th grade, with book studies. Books and reading guides are provided. Location : César Chávez K-8 School 5103 N Willis Blvd Portland, OR 97203 Schedule: Months position will be active: March 3rd- June 5th Approx hours/week per student: 8.5 Required availability (ie: days of week and hours of day required, if applicable): At least two days a week, 9:00am- 1:15pm 9:05- 9:35am 1st grade 9:45- 10:15am 2nd grade 10:20- 10:50am 3rd grade 11:05-11:45am 4th grade 12:30-1:10pm 5th grade
Requirements
- Must have Federal Work Study fund in Financial Aid Package (contact [email protected] with questions)
- Must be available at least 2 days/week
- Must be proficient in English literacy
Nice To Haves

- Bilingual in Spanish
