About The Position
The CSU Spur Music Lab seeks a Resident Teaching Artist for the 2024-2025 season to support a community-based music outreach program. This role involves preparing pre-service music educators to deliver accessible music education in various teaching scenarios, focusing on trauma-informed practices and culturally responsive teaching. The position requires collaboration with undergraduate and postgraduate music education students, faculty, and local music programs to create lesson plans and facilitate music lessons for diverse learners.
