About The Position

To provide skilled technical care to the pediatric patient in the operating room according to their identified needs. This care includes but is not limited to: performing in the role of Scrub Nurse or First Assistant to the Surgeon and is delivered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. These functions are guided by the documented nursing care plan. The responsibilities are primarily directed to technical skills including the use of surgical instruments and equipment.
