The CSSP Trainer shall provide training support for the Battle Captains and Watch personnel for CSSP Cert training work in SCIF. The CSSP Trainer will be centrally managed by DISA J-7 but will be assigned to assist those working in the SCIF area within the command center. The CSSP Certification Trainer will be able to communicate CSSP Training certification requirements to the highest command levels internal and external of the command, while taking guidance from J-7 Division Chief, J-772 DISA Chief Training Branch, and Joint Director (JDIR) leadership. The CSSP trainer should be able to perform support for the various certification functions they perform. This trainer is the training experts for the Battle Captains and members of the Watch as well as leading CSSP Cert training DISA-wide and must be able to work independently with minimum or no guidance. Primary Responsibilities The CSSP Certification Trainer shall: Support all aspects of CSSP training certification, tasks, and options, from required development to transition into operations. Establish a community of interest between cyber-Watch security trainers and both industry and government CSSP requirements. Analyze the training curriculum, performance objectives, training plans, certification standards, exercise objectives, and evaluation standards to project future performance objectives and assist with the development of training materials to support Watch Training objectives that will ensure Watch Officers possess the necessary skills required to accomplish the mission. Support the development of the new innovations scope and objectives, high level requirements development, and conduct CSSP training requirements and achievement of CERT completion and recommended technology acquisition planning support to enable next generation technology investments. Elicit inputs for the planning process from cyberspace operations elements (to include assessments) throughout the program community to assure inputs are representative of the community’s full scope. Support the continuous performance improvement and standardization efforts based on future capability needs, alternate approaches, flexible applications, and adversary modifications. Assist in the maintenance of training databases to ensure accuracy and timelines of records. Assist in the tracking and reporting of Agency-level training requirements for the Watch workforce. Assist in developing training materials, tracking certification status and report, managing the information. Assist in managing tools and reports for the Workforce Improvement Program to include full certification status data. Ability to develop working relationships with Technology vendors and partners. Understanding of relevant IT technologies, both user-facing and back-end infrastructure technologies. Participate in cyber panels, meetings, and working groups as subject matter expert and advisor as it pertains to CSSP engagements. If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
