About The Position
Sentara is currently hiring a CSS Tech II in Hampton, Virginia This is a Full-Time Evening shift opportunity with GREAT BENEFITS!!! The CSS Tech II is responsible for the decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments, medical equipment, and supplies used in patient care. This position operates and maintains sterilization equipment according to established procedures and standards. Examines medical equipment for defects and reports faulty equipment to appropriate personnel. Ensure compliance with all established local and federal health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years in Sterile Processing
- CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing/Distribution Tech) or IAHCSMM (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) required
Responsibilities
