CSS II (1:1) PT
About The Position
1:1 position: Under general supervision, provides protective care and watchful oversight of male residents with developmental disabilities in a residential/home life environment in a 24-hour/7-day facility. Provides supervision of personal care, recreation and activities in the community. Assist with client medications once proper proxy training is completed. Will complete daily vital signs, prepare meals, and perform daily house cleaning/laundry. Will complete documentation by computer daily. Will work 29 hours per week. Hours for this position will vary and will include night shift work as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to observe and monitor program participants’ behavior
- Ability to train program participants in routine daily living skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to participate in supportive guidance
- Must be proficient with computers
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years old to apply
- A minimum of 6 months of social service experience
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record with less than 6 points
- Must be able to lift with no restrictions for client care
Nice To Haves
- Experience with home visiting and/or working with the developmentally delayed population preferred but not required
