Child Saving Institute (CSI) is looking for someone who has a mind full of wonder and a heart-filled desire to make a difference! We’re on a mission to champion what’s best for each child and family. As a Crisis Youth Care Specialist, you’ll be an essential part of our team. Your responsibilities would include Supervising and Implementing behavior management techniques and de-escalation by providing direct support, mentorship and supervision to the youth in the short-term Crisis Stabilization program. In short, our CSRS Youth Care Specialist will serve as a vital advocate and support system for children and adolescents experiencing mental health crises.

Requirements

  • Has a positive and reliable work ethic
  • Holds experience working with children and families
  • Knowledge of childcare practices, developmental issues, and group process
  • Understanding of theory and practices for emotionally dysregulated children
  • Ability to handle crises and work with children and youth experiencing emotional or behavioral disorders

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred
