The Customer Support Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering excellent customer experience through a variety of banking duties. These include opening, modifying, and closing various types of accounts such as savings, demand deposit, money markets, and certificates of deposit. CSRs also extend credit offers to qualified borrowers and process different types of loans, including personal lines of credit, revolving credit, and installment loans. Daily customer assistance involves account research and reconciliation, check orders, safety deposit box services, wire transfers, digital banking, and debit card services. A key aspect of the role is to identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships and suggest additional banking services. CSRs may also refer customers to specialists for services like Financial Counseling, Business Services, Mortgage and Real Estate Loans, Health Savings accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts, Insurance, and Trust Services. Additionally, the CSR may be required to serve as a vault custodian and provide teller services.
