Handle all Export traffic aspects of assigned accounts in an efficient manner and in compliance with Mexican Customs regulations and communicate with shippers, exporters, importers and/or carriers in order to coordinate and expedite shipments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Handle traffic work for assigned accounts. Receive invoices and verify accuracy of documents to merchandise and prepare documentation necessary for Mexican Customs Clearance. Ensure that "In-Bond Entries" for shipments are properly cancelled with U.S. Customs prior to Export. Monitor shipments to ensure they cross within the allowed limits of time. Invoicing promptly after clearance. Communicate with clients, shippers, Mexican Brokers and/or Carriers to request or provide information regarding shipments. Assist with other accounts when required. Do Work Order, Arrival Notice and/or Bill of Lading when necessary. Keep control of Receiving and Shipping work orders to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner. i.e. If a work order is not received back in a reasonable time, follow up should take place. Handle Distribution and maintain client informed of status. Responsible for accurate inventory keeping. Should work with warehouse staff to perform regular inventory audits in the form of cycle counts and physical inventories. Update Clients' information/profile sheets as needed.
