About The Position

The Customer Service/Warehouse Associate at Dal-Tile is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing various warehouse duties. This role involves servicing walk-in customers, completing sales transactions, and handling material in the warehouse, including receiving and loading/unloading materials. The position requires a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized facility and ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience.
  • 3+ years of warehouse experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in math and computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Wait on customers and assist them in determining order requirements.
  • Complete sales transactions and accept payments.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints, including returns and order errors.
  • Process payments and receipts, reconcile DSRs and cash box, and prepare bank deposits.
  • Enter customer orders and create plant/RDC orders.
  • Pull and assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy, and conduct inventory stock checks.
  • Receive and unload inbound material, process shipments, and handle customer returns.
  • Operate forklift equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized facility and ensure compliance with safety rules.
