About The Position

The Customer Service/Warehouse Associate at Dal-Tile plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting warehouse operations. This position involves servicing walk-in customers, completing sales transactions, and handling various warehouse duties such as receiving and loading materials, pulling and assembling customer orders, and conducting inventory checks. The role requires daily use of forklift and crane equipment, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of customer service experience and warehouse experience.
• Experience operating crane and forklift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and assist them in determining order requirements.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide samples and direction/selection assistance.
• Complete sales transactions and accept payments.
• Address and resolve customer complaints, including returns and order errors.
• Process payments and receipts, reconcile DSRs and cash box, and prepare bank deposits.
• Balance petty cash box and prepare various performance reports.
• Update customer master files and create vendor orders.
• Enter customer orders and complete stock replenishment orders.
• Pull and assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy, and conduct inventory stock checks.
• Restock and label vendor products, maintain displays, and conduct daily cycle counts.
• Receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, and handle customer returns.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility and ensure compliance with safety rules.
