About The Position

The Multi-skilled Worker II (CSR/MSW II) is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Coordinator in receiving, labeling, assembling, storing, replenishing, restocking, distributing, shipping, and inventorying supplies/equipment as it relates to the Supply Chain Department scope. The CSR/MSW II may also perform other duties including performing a variety of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and occasional environmental services duties, as needed by the facility. Complies with department and organization-wide policies, Critical Access Hospital requirements, safety and infection control, and Federal/State of Colorado regulation related to the performance of Keefe Memorial Hospital operations and requirements of the compliance program.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic computer skillset required, including email and spreadsheets
  • Organized, detail-oriented skills required
  • Experience in supply chain, distribution, manufacturing or healthcare preferred
  • Previous experience of minor electrical/mechanical or construction required
  • Awareness of safe working procedures and health and safety requirements preferred
  • Valid state driver’s license and updated vehicle insurance

Responsibilities

  • Compare receivables against purchase order, invoice, packing slip, etc. and document all variances
  • Inspect quality of received goods and assist in returning damaged items for replacement or refund
  • Assist in delivering temperature-sensitive and time-sensitive supplies promptly on the day of arrival
  • Deliver non-critical supplies to appropriate department in a timely fashion
  • Print and affix labels to patient chargeable items
  • Return all purchase orders, invoices, packing slips and other shipping manifest, with variances documented, to the Supply Chain Coordinator
  • Assist with inventory records as directed
  • Provide awareness to maintain a par level of all restock items within the main storeroom
  • Restock supplies in assigned locations according to set par/min-max level
  • Promptly notify Supply Chain Coordinator of any supply needing to be reordered due to reduced par level
  • Rotate new inventory to the back to minimize expiration of unused supply
  • Assist in accurate records of inventory expiration dates and lot codes within assigned systems
  • Report recall information to the Supply Chain Coordinator
  • Keep bins and shelving units free of dust and debris
  • Store all products within required temperature and other environmental standards
  • Place critical need orders in the absence of the Supply Chain Coordinator
  • Work on units and other healthcare properties to provide a well-maintained, clean, physically safe, accessible and welcoming environment
  • Assist in carrying out maintenance routines on a wide range of mechanical plant and equipment
