About The Position
This role will provide patient care throughout BJC Health Must be able and willing to travel to all BJC East Region locations: https://www.bjc.org/locations/hospitals Base pay PLUS: $15/hour float differential PRN; 24hrs/6 week schedule Shift differentials Mileage reimbursement Day & Night shifts available Train fulltime the first 3 weeks Overview BJC Corporate Health Services comprises several organizations that share a dedication to creating and maintaining healthy workplaces. Responsibilities
- Assists nurse with patient and family education.
- Documents all patient care activities provided with correct medical terminology.
- Acts as 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary.
- Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs.
- Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nursing team.
- Collects clinical data and information on patients and reports abnormal findings to the nurse.
- Instructs patients in preparations for tests and procedures.
