About The Position

Cigna Supplemental Benefits (CSB) is looking for a Business Project Senior Advisor to lead strategic initiatives within the CSB Portfolio, which includes Medicare Supplement and Supplemental Health & Life products. This role involves managing complex projects, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of project plans to meet organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 7 or more years of related work experience in project management.
• Strong preference for candidates with a healthcare background.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools and methodologies.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodology is preferred.
• Strong relationship management skills to manage multiple stakeholders' expectations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with poise in front of senior audiences.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and drive collaborative results.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within specified timeframes.
• Demonstrated ability to influence across a matrixed organization and build trusting partnerships.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing tactical needs.

Nice To Haves

• PMP certification preferred.
• Agile certification is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Change Management Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex, time-sensitive projects and coordinate with numerous internal partners to achieve organizational objectives.
• Develop and manage project plans, ensuring leadership is aware of critical items and project status.
• Evaluate project status and resource utilization, implementing changes to enhance team effectiveness.
• Prepare and present project status updates to stakeholders as needed.
• Monitor project progress, manage issues and risks, and ensure operational readiness through updated deliverables and status reports.
