C-Shift Operate the mashed line packaging machines in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to work safely
• Good communication skills - written/oral
• Problem Solving Skills
• Multi-tasker

Responsibilities

• Assures quality of workmanship by continual observation of the assigned line, and performing necessary adjustments to insure: Proper bag sealing, Proper operation of metal detector and check weigher, Proper adjustment of bag coder assuring correct and legible bag codes, Proper adjustment of case sealers and glue patterns.
• Performance of operator level maintenance on assigned packaging lines
• Assure conformance with sanitation standards by: Keeping area clean and walkways free of product and debris, Cleaning floors and equipment during breaks, Ensuring that product rejected by the metal detectors is disposed of according to policy, Cleaning the mashed transferring equipment in accordance with the standard cleanup procedures
