Ensures routine maintenance is performed on a timely basis Ensures logbooks are accurately maintained and up to date Performs lifting, pulling, carrying and other manual labor tasks to operate equipment designed to crush concrete on job site Operates equipment; assists in equipment maintenance tasks, and reports equipment operation problems to production Supervisor Assists, and performs duties of co-workers, as needed to accomplish productivity objectives Trains all personnel in job duties and responsibilities and monitors job sites Conducts daily safety meetings and submits daily reports to Production supervisor of attendance log and topics covered Completes daily yard status report with equipment issues and submits to Production supervisor Produces reports of the previous business day’s plant production numbers and forwards to sales department each day Monitors all site supplies (cases, PPE, water, ice, etc) and submits orders on daily basis to Production Supervisor, including quantity and when needed Require each employee to always wear proper PPE Performs other duties as required or assigned What you'll need: Knowledge of general construction procedures; mechanical knowledge, and knowledge of loader machine signals Prior experience of at least 3 years in a similar position with similar equipment and operations is required Ability to work in all weather conditions Ability to stand, sit, stoop and/or bend for extended periods of time at conveyor belt and catwalk operation Ability to climb heights/stairs of up to 40 feet on a regular basis Ability to lift, carry, and/or pull 50 pounds on a regular basis Ability to work in dusty, loud noise environment Required to wear safety equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, steel toed boots, ear plugs, respirator, gloves and various other similar items as required Compensation: The Pay Range for this position is $25.42/hour to $30.51/hour. Starting pay rate will be determined by the successful applicant's relevant experience and skill base. This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay.
