About The Position

Under the direction of the aggregate superintendent, the crusher operator is responsible to oversee the operation and maintenance of the crusher and other related equipment. Day, swing and grave yard shifts are possible.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher (VSI) knowledge is essential.
  • Attention and commitment to safety
  • Ability to follow instructions

  • Ability to move at least 50 pounds
  • Detail oriented
  • Basic computer skills

  • General knowledge of aggregates
  • General maintenance ability
  • General crusher plant operations

Responsibilities

  • Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.
  • Responsible for a safe work environment and the safety of crew.
  • Function as the lead person on the crew and see that employees have proper instruction.
  • Responsible for operation and maintenance of the crusher and all related equipment.
  • Responsible for producing specification and sampling material.
  • Ensure that oil changes, maintenance, and greasing are completed to schedule.
  • Complete daily inspection records and weekly crusher operator reports.
  • Maintain insurable driving record.
  • Ensure a safe and healthful work environment at all times.
