Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be dependable, a team player and be safety conscious
• Must be able to deal professionally with plant employees and other drivers
• Common sense and good judgement and willingness to work
• Excellent defensive driving skills
• Previous experience working on a crushing facility is preferred
• Loader operating experience is preferred
• CDL-B Preferred

Responsibilities

• Startup of the plant to include water pumps
• Communicate with contracted trucks to ensure an efficient flow of material to the plant
• Daily maintenance to include greasing plant machinery
• Checking the wire cloth (screens) for wear
• Addressing areas of the crusher that need repair
• Monitor pond levels
• Assures that Bin Truck Driver is following through with end of shift maintenance to include shoveling of tail pullies
• Reports to the plant supervisor when an item needs maintenance
• Records the water pump hourly usage and reports to the plant supervisor, daily
• Records the plant production of aggregates and reports the tonnage to the plant supervisor
• Inspects assigned fire extinguishers located at plant locations on a monthly basis
• Backup to the Bin Truck Driver/Dump Truck Driver
• Other duties as assigned or as necessary
