About The Position

You are an experienced Crusher Operator who takes pride in the safe and efficient operation of production mining equipment in a surface pit operation. You will be operating a jaw and cone crusher to process mineral materials to support site development operations. We are looking for people to join our safety culture and grow their career with us. Essential Responsibilities: Safe and efficient operation of jaw and cone crushers to meet production targets Understanding of crushing systems; including pulley, belts, and conveyors to safely operate equipment Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, and reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns Complete production reporting and other documentation as required Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures including MSHA Maintain fall protection and hosting & rigging requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of previous plant crusher experience is preferred
  • Experience operating 980/988 loaders
  • Valid MSHA p. 48 metal/nonmetal is preferred
  • Must have valid photo identification
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol
  • Must be able to pass respirator fit test requirements
