About The Position

Requirements

• Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial crusher maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
• Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours based on demands.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and tolerate exposure to loud noises.
• Mechanical skills and knowledge of industrial tools and their maintenance.

Nice To Haves

• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety by prioritizing safety throughout the operation in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Repair and maintain crusher equipment, including assembly, disassembly, overhaul, and adjustment.
• Inspect equipment and structures to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Monitor processes and materials in various aggregate crushing, washing, and screening areas.
• Document and record service and lubrication reports to ensure preventative maintenance is up to date.
• Perform general physical activities to assist with plant operations, including cleaning and shoveling materials.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
