About The Position

The Crusher Lead Man is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the daily activities of the crusher crew. This role involves operating and maintaining the crusher plant in a safe and efficient manner, keeping inventory, preparing production schedules, reports, and maintaining an operators log as necessary. Compliance with all MSHA regulations is mandatory, and participation in the quality control program to meet specifications is required. Additional miscellaneous duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Knowledge of crusher plant operations with screen and conveyor systems
• High degree of skills in planning, organization, supervising, communication, and observation
• Ability to read and comprehend specifications, operators' manuals, and instructions
• Ability to maintain operators log as necessary
• Professional demeanor and ability to work well with others
• Good supervisory skills and ability to be a teacher/mentor
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
