The Cruise Web is looking for talented cruise sales experts to join our team in an exciting full-time and fully remote position! For 30 years, The Cruise Web has used unique, personalized cruise consultations to plan unforgettable cruise vacations perfectly suited for our clients.   • Lead a small sales team consisting of you and two Sales Assistants.
  • Build relationships and become the dedicated travel expert for your clients.
  • Close sales, exceed sales targets, and grow a profitable book of business.
  • Use consultative sales skills to understand and provide a personalized recommendation.
  • Use time management skills to book new website leads and inbound sales calls (No cold calling!).
  • Follow up with past guests to book new cruise and land vacations.
  • Follow up with booked clients to add air, travel insurance, hotels, pre/post packages, shore excursions and more to their reservation.
  • Utilize booking and search engines to research and develop a personalized recommendation.
  • Meet and exceed team goals, including performance and activity levels.
  • Use Salesforce to manage client relationships, track sales and tasks, communicate with clients through email, SMS and What's App, and more.
  • 3+ years of recent experience selling cruises and/or travel products is required.
  • Experience selling in a team environment.
  • Experience working with cruise line booking engines.
  • Computer proficiency, including word processing and web browsing.
  • Experience with CRM systems to document daily calls, tasks, and activity is required (Salesforce is a plus).
  • Must be organized and self-motivated.
  • A history of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekend days.
