About The Position

Delek US Holdings is a boutique-sized diversified downstream energy company with a range of assets, including petroleum refining, logistics, and renewable fuels. The company operates refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana with a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day. Additionally, Delek's logistics business owns and operates 720 miles of crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals. The company also has three renewable plants in Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi that can produce 40 million gallons of biodiesel fuel a year. The Driver position is responsible for the safe operation of a commercial vehicle to deliver products while adhering to all DOT regulations and safety protocols. This role supports the organization's strategy and vision, and management retains the right to assign or reassign duties as necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two or more years of experience in a related field.
• Must maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Skills in reporting, risk assessment, and vehicle inspection.
• Ability to wear required PPE and pass all DOT and Motor Carrier Safety requirements.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Organize delivery routes and prepare for deliveries based on the schedule received from the Truck Dispatcher.
• Perform pre-delivery trip checks on the tank truck following safety specifications.
• Drive to customer locations, connect hoses, open valves, read gauges, and record amounts delivered.
• Maintain good customer contact skills and handle customer inquiries.
• Keep the assigned work area and vehicle clean and orderly.
• Follow all safety rules and operating procedures.
