About The Position
The position is for a part-time Nursing Assistant in the ACH Enterprise - Nursing Float Pool. The role involves assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) with daily patient care, including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and ambulation. The Nursing Assistant will measure and document vital signs, assist with patient admissions and discharges, and ensure that patient call lights are within reach. The position requires participation in various patient care tasks under the supervision of an RN, including specimen collection and maintaining patient supplies. The Nursing Assistant must demonstrate knowledge of infection prevention and provide age-appropriate care as per departmental policies.
