About The Position
Prepares treatment medications, administers prescribed treatments and performs various departmental procedures and duties all under general supervision.
Requirements
- A.S Graduation from a two year or longer AMA approved therapist school is desirable.
- Must be licensed as a respiratory therapist in the state of Arkansas.
- Previous experience desirable but not necessary.
- Should possess extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine.
- Must be able to exercise judgment and accept greater responsibility in therapeutic procedures based on patient observation.
- Normal/ corrected eyesight.
- Full range of hearing.
- Operates computer, IPPB, CPAP, BIPAP and other various respiratory equipment.
- Lifts and carries up to 30lbs.
- Pushes and pulls up to 70lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing and walking.
