About The Position

We are actively seeking skilled and safety-minded Sit-down Forklift Operators in Canal Winchester to join our technology warehouse team on day and afternoon shift. This vital role involves the efficient and safe operation of Crown Sit-down Forklift and other material handling equipment to ensure smooth warehouse operations. We are looking for individuals with a strong commitment to safety, keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate Sit-down Forklift and other heavy equipment. Perform materials handling tasks using RF scanners for accurate inventory management . Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance . Assist with the loading and unloading of materials from trucks and various storage locations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment , adhering strictly to OSHA standards . Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production and operational goals. Execute heavy lifting tasks when required, always utilizing proper and safe lifting techniques. Skills and Qualifications Advanced Experience in Computer Systems and/or WMS (Warehouse Management System) to navigate tasks, manage workflows, and receive/process pick waves. Proven proficiency in heavy equipment operation , specifically Crown Sit-down Forklift. Experience in materials handling within a warehouse or distribution setting. Familiarity with RF scanner usage for inventory tracking and management. Basic troubleshooting skills for equipment are beneficial. Solid understanding of OSHA regulations relevant to warehouse operations. Capability to safely perform heavy lifting tasks . Excellent attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to safety protocols . Ability to work effectively during the hours of 8:00AM to 6:30PM Monday to Thursday. • Proven proficiency in heavy equipment operation , specifically Crown Sit-down Forklift.
