Position Summary: Crown PIV Maintenance Technician Location: 1500 N. River Rd. Lithia Springs, GA, 30122 The backbone of any organization is a team that is dedicated to keeping things in order. As a maintenance mechanic with Gordon Food Service, you’ll have the opportunity to be hands-on with building schematics/blueprints, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC systems, conveyor systems, building maintenance, cranes, hi-speed doors, and more. We have high standards for safety, stability, and training to ensure our people are safe and that our business is always running at top performance. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm Pay : $27-32 per hour (Depending on experience) Earns an additional monthly performance incentive Annual $500 tool allowance and $150 boot allowance Total Rewards at GFS Affordable benefits plans start on day one! Requirements

Basic mechanical skills: Component identification Proper, and safe, use of hand tools Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance after being shown once
Basic electrical skills Component identification Ability to use meter to check continuity Ability to wire 480V 3PH motor using simple wiring diagram
Must have 1-2 years experience in Industrial equipment made by Crown Lift trucks . Examples of these types of equipment will be Pallet Jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, Lift Trucks, etc.)
High School / Equivalent required
Minimum of 3 years maintaining and repairing PIV or warehouse related equipment and facilities
Experienced and knowledgeable technician in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Engineering, or equivalent certifications/degrees, or verifiable work experience in these fields
You must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED certificate.
Powered Industrial Vehicle Certified.
Industrial maintenance experience in Crown Reach Trucks-Required
Three years previous machine repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education and training.
Previous experience in forklift repair
Successful passing of drug screen and background check
Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift
