About The Position
Crossroads Church in Mansfield, Ohio, is seeking a Lead Pastor who will play a pivotal role in the church's mission and vision. Founded over 25 years ago, Crossroads has grown significantly, with a current weekly attendance of approximately 3,500. The church is known for its commitment to outreach and discipleship, creating a community that is both deep in faith and wide in reach. The Lead Pastor will be responsible for providing spiritual leadership, vision, and biblical teaching, serving as the primary communicator during weekend services. This role requires a spiritually mature leader who can effectively communicate the Word of God and foster a culture of seeking God's truth within the congregation. The Lead Pastor will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Campus Pastors, and Elders to ensure alignment with the church's mission and vision. This includes casting a clear vision for the future of Crossroads and implementing it passionately and collaboratively. The Lead Pastor will also be responsible for leading change within the church, fostering healthy relationships, and mentoring staff members and key leaders. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Divinity or higher from an accredited evangelical seminary and at least 7-10 years of successful leadership experience in a large, growing multisite church. Personal characteristics such as humility, authenticity, and a deep desire to cultivate the next generation of leaders are essential for this role.
