About The Position

The Middletown City School District is seeking part-time Crossing Guards for the 2025-2026 school year. The position involves monitoring and ensuring the safety of students as they cross streets during designated times. The role requires a commitment of 10 hours per week, specifically from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM and from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM each school day. The positions are available at Wildwood and Rosa Parks locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent training/experience.
• Ability to communicate in a courteous manner.
• Acceptable BCII report and FBI report.
• Ability to meet all job expectations and objectives.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children.
• Previous experience in a safety or monitoring role.
