Crossing Guard
About The Position
Riverside Middle School is seeking a Crossing Guard to assist students to cross the road safely before and after school. Morning shift will be from 7:30 a.m. and the afternoon shift will be from approximately 2:30 to 3:00. Job Requirements Include, but are not limited to: Maintain a safe environment for students walking to and from school. Ensure that students and motorists follow safety laws so that students are provided with a safe environment to prevent injuries. Stop vehicles to allow students to cross at specific locations. Give understandable signals and direction to regulate the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic and use judgment in those duties to avoid unnecessary traffic tie-ups and to safeguard the students.
