About The Position
Crossing Guards are part-time employees of the Worcester Public Schools and are paid on a per Diem basis. They are required to work 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon. The primary responsibility of Crossing Guards is to ensure the safety of children using the crosswalks or walking lines. It is important to note that Crossing Guards do not possess any police power or authority.
