About The Position

As a cyber solutions engineer at Booz Allen, you'll execute cybersecurity engineering of a network program backlog of cyber and zero trust features to design, test, verify and deploy an enterprise network at multiple classification levels. You'll identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your client's IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solutions, so you'll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You'll lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a cyber engineer delivering Risk Management Framework artifacts per DoD 5000 and DoD 8570.1.
  • Experience with the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture.
  • Experience with the system engineering lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment for major DoD weapon systems.
  • Ability to plan systems delivery and deployment efforts, including developing technical plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk tracking.
  • Ability to perform multiple systems engineering functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Cross-Domain Systems and related RTB requirements for CDS.
  • Experience with system testing, configuration management, and installation.
  • Experience with Aerospace and Defense industry, systems engineering for C2 systems, defense communications systems, or the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN).
  • Experience with networking, cloud, and data technologies.
  • Experience performing in Agile environments.
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
