Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cross Domain Field Service Representative (FSR) to join our team at Ft. Shafter in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Cross Domain FSR, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing cross-domain hardware, software, and configurations while ensuring seamless system functionality.

Requirements

  • Security+ or higher DoD 8570 certification.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Linux+ or experience with Linux system maintenance and automation (e.g., BASH scripting, Python, Ansible).
  • Experience with structured data standards (e.g., XML, KML, FMV Metadata).
  • Proficiency in maintaining VMware virtualization environments.
  • Military experience with Linux-based Military Intelligence systems across multiple networks. (Cross Domain Security Solutions)
  • Prior military communication experience (e.g., U.S. Army MOS 35T Military Intelligence Systems Maintainer/Integrator).

Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple server stacks, virtual machines (VMs), storage area networks (SANs), and cross-domain appliances.
  • Creating and maintaining user accounts in compliance with customer and program policies.
  • Performing tasks such as system patching, full installations, software updates, and backup/recovery.
  • Supporting system accreditation events, Site-Based Security Assessments (SBSA), and security audits.
  • Coordinating with local facility and unit support teams to maintain network and datacenter availability.
  • Sustaining web applications across multiple networks, adhering to Army and domain policies.
  • Monitoring system processes and generating status and usage reports using advanced tools.
  • Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues with hardware, software, and networks.
  • Ensuring proper connectivity and data flow for mission-critical systems and user environments.
  • Driving continuous improvements to cross-domain processes based on customer and partner feedback.
