The Cross Border Manager Senior will negotiate and develop new business and customers, accelerating growth of these opportunities, always taking care of profitability and aligned with the Strategy and vision of the company. Leverage GUS (Grainger US) connections to accelerate strategic targeted accounts growth: identify and position new business development opportunities in CA/MX. Lead discovery and contract negotiation efforts for new/renewal cross border agreements. Leverage Local Canadian and Mexican knowledge to position contract solutions. Work with local CA/MX teams to help structure deals and to resolve operational delays in contract negotiations. Support implementation of new contracts and development of local coverage plan. Collaborate with the Global Export team: drive export business for US national account customers. Partner with contract owners and in-country sales teams: develop a strategy that maximizes contract realization in every country where the customer has locations and act as a liaison. Assist in driving operational efficiency: influence needed changes to logistics, sales cycle processes and structure of cross border deals in order to help support continuous improvement and better customer experiences. Strengthen internal relationships between US National and CA/MX Teams. Foster cross-border awareness of CA/MX Capabilities. Support and champion customer business reviews for continued revenue growth, compliance & customer retention. Conduct regular business reviews with GBS: track the progress of top opportunities and ensure alignment on priorities.

  • BA/BS Required - MBA preferred.
  • More than 5 years of experience in sales.
  • Basic knowledge of the MRO market (desirable).
  • Strong planning, organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinker with business and basic financial acumen.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual Skills (desirable).
