About The Position

At AFSC, we are rooted in people and agriculture, and we believe meaningful work happens when individuals feel valued, supported, and connected to a greater purpose. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive and lead what’s next, whether they’re in the field or at a desk. We attract people who care deeply about making an impact on their teams, communities, and the future of agriculture in Alberta, working hard to keep them inspired so they stay. The posting will remain open until filled. Location is flexible, within Alberta, dependent on the successful applicant. However, periodically may be asked to work in other AFSC branches. Travel in these circumstances will be reimbursed according to AFSC’s Employee and Board of Directors Expense Policy. Summary of the Role If you enjoy working outdoors, building relationships, and want a career that directly supports Alberta’s farming communities, this role is for you! As a Crop Adjuster, you’ll be trained and mentored by experienced professionals while helping deliver fair and timely crop inspections that protect producers and strengthen agriculture across the province. What will your growth opportunities look like in this role? This is a true learn-on-the-job career opportunity. You’ll receive hands-on training, coaching, and field experience alongside experienced Crop Adjusters while developing technical, communication, and decision-making skills. Over time, you’ll grow into conducting inspections independently, opening the door to long-term career paths within AFSC’s Claims and Adjusting Services. Crop adjusting experience will provide you with such an experience where you would be confident to explore other opportunities within the organization as well.
