About The Position

We are seeking a highly autonomous CRNA to support a busy orthopedic practice. Founded in 1942, Memphis Orthopaedic Group is the region’s oldest legacy orthopaedic practice. What began as a small clinic has expanded over the decades incorporating in 1974 and evolving into a thriving, multi-physician organization. Following a merger with MSK Group, the practice now spans five locations with a 12-physician team, all dedicated to delivering exceptional othopaedic care and exceeding patient and family expectations. High-volume case mix including hips, knees, shoulders, ankles, and single-level outpatient spine procedures. CRNAs practice with a high level of independence within a care team model. Germantown, TN: Germantown is an affluent, family-oriented suburb of the Memphis metropolitan area known for its high quality of life and strong community feel. Requirements

  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Responsibilities

  • Highly proficient in spinal blocks
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed
