About The Position

Responsible for the administration of anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in (1) Pre-Anesthetic preparation and evaluation; (2) Anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence; (3) Post Anesthesia Care: (4) Peri-Anesthetic and clinical support functions. Works collaboratively under the anesthesiologist and the overall direction of the OR Manager, Director of Surgical Services and Vice President of Patient Care Services.

Requirements

• Schedule is 5, 8-hour days per week (M-F), with call rotation. Call is 1 in every 6 weekends and includes first, second, and third call during the week and on weekend. CRNAs have post-first call day off.
• No in-house call, must be able to get to the Medical Center in 20 minutes.
• Currently 11 Anesthesiologist, and 25 CRNAs in the group.
• Medically directed.
• W2 or 1099 employment options available!
• Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthetist.
• Current licensure to practice as a CRNA in the state of Missouri.
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
