About The Position

CentraCare is seeking CRNAs to join their Anesthesia department based in Willmar, MN Casual position, with the option to work when convenient for you Shifts available Mon- Fri, 7am – 3:30pm Occasional late shifts The Anesthesiology Department includes 9 CRNAs and 2 MDs providing services in both the hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center. The team manages a broad range of cases, including peds, OB, ENT, general, robotic, ortho, GYN, urology, podiatry, endoscopy, epidurals, and pain blocks. Using a combination of medical direction and CRNA-only models, CRNAs average approximately 10 cases per day at the surgery center and 4 per day in the hospital. The department utilizes the Epic EMR system to support clinical documentation and care coordination. CentraCare – Willmar serves as a multi-specialty hub, providing high-quality, convenient care close to home for patients throughout Southwestern Minnesota. The campus features Rice Memorial Hospital, a 136-bed regional facility, along with an outpatient surgery center and clinics offering primary, specialty, and ancillary services such as laboratory and imaging, comprehensive rehabilitation services, and is supported by a range of outreach programs. The Willmar community is a diverse, family-friendly city in Minnesota’s lake country. Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
  • Current licensure as an APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) in the State of Minnesota.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
  • Successful completion of medical staff office credentialing must be completed prior to working without a preceptor.
  • Successful completion of third-party payer credentialing must be completed prior to billing for services

  • Knowledge of growth and development principles over the entire life span of the patient population to include neonate to geriatric.
  • Ability to observe, assess, and interpret patient age specific data, reaction, treatments, progress, and outcomes.
  • Knowledge of current anesthesia principles and practices, agents, equipment, devices, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of emergency medical procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other professionals and the general public.
