MUSC Health - Florence Medical Center is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our growing practice in Florence, SC. This position is part-time and operates on a PRN (as needed) basis, allowing for flexibility in scheduling. The CRNA will work collaboratively with a dedicated Anesthesia Care Team comprised of experienced CRNAs and board-certified anesthesiologists. The role will focus on a broad mix of anesthesia cases across MUSC Health's campuses in Florence, Black River, and Marion, SC. The ideal candidate will have experience administering various types of anesthesia, including major vascular, minimal pediatric, neuro, regional, and orthopedic anesthesia, as well as anesthesia for outpatient surgery. Candidates must be graduates of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. For those hired after March 1, 2019, a master's degree or higher with a concentration in Nurse Anesthesia is required. Additionally, candidates must be insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits. The position requires current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in South Carolina, along with certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
